Brunel

London, UK

Brunel were a South London heavy rock band playing all originals in the early 1980's.

Back To Zero

Taupo, New Zealand

It was quite a contrast moving to a small town in central New Zealand after growing up in London, where, we NEVER played covers.  In fact the only cover number I remember playing in Brunel was the night John Lennon died, and we played a Beatles track spontaneously as a tribute.

I never did quite like rehearsing and playing covers - felt like a job!, but we did what we did pretty well, and there were some good times.
