(A slight identity crisis as I have lived an equal amount of time in each country!)
My journey began in the UK during the '70s, playing lead guitar in original rock bands. Then life took me on quite the detour—serving as a Navy Navigating Officer, working as an electronics technician, then IT contractor, and eventually becoming an iOS developer.
Now retired, I finally have the time to return to my first love: creating music. From my home studio, I write and produce songs that I often weave into video—because I believe great music and great visuals bring out the best in each other.
While Classic and Progressive Rock shaped much of my musical DNA, everything changed when I recently discovered Euro Symphonic Metal. The sheer power, precision, and emotion in that genre lit a new creative fire in me.
What you’ll hear is a blend of my early rock roots, cinematic synth textures inspired by Vangelis, and I will ocasionally make a brave attempt at the bold, orchestral energy of modern Symphonic Metal. I'm making mistakes, learning, and (hopefully) improving. My early mixes and mastering results are pretty dreadful! but each one improves on the last.
This is a journey for me with the ultimate goal of a catalogue of hopefully uplifting music and videos that I can be proud of.
Thanks for stopping by—hope you enjoy the music!
